What do you want to bet they dust off Michelle & Hillary at the last minute?
Wacco political humor has reached a new nexus, idk who is funnier anymore. It used to be that I could choose my laugh by the poster. Now it doesn't seem to make a difference. I choose to see this as a good thing. Humor unites us in cynical observation of current political hypocrisy. Some could view this negatively, but I choose humor as good. Perhaps in times of crisis the ability to laugh at the stupidity of our kind is a survival strategy?
Ha ha, I was going to write you about your censorship (editing). Good to see you're (admitting) taking credit for it.
The thread might be even better (funnier) if you would also edit out some of the more blatantly viscous anti Trump stuff. Some of it's not funny, just childish and nasty.
However I agree that, in the end, if you're going to give it, you've got to be able to take it. Cynical satire, that is.

As a longtime anarchist my politics shift to what I believe will reduce the burden of the violent monopoly of collective will. Could be right, could be left. We live in interesting times. Heard today from someone connected to the big d Anderson. We will be quarantined Italian style, ie singing out our windows for real social contact with cops on the street checking papers. Government wants us to be virtual, like this. Personally I'm looking to get infected sooner rather than later. None of the people closest to me agree, as usual. But how will I take care of them if I survive? The who Dr video was very informative. We have already given up on contact tracing and all us citizens and residents will be exposed to the virus by mid June. Capitalist democracy has consistently proven to be more dynamic than capitalistic communism. Freedom will prevail in these dark times.
Not exactly political humor, but...
Turns out the prior video is fake. It's a doctored version of a 2015 video that is not quite as funny... But I'll leave it up just for the comic, if not gastric, relief
I find this interesting- because SoCo did *NOT* see a real reduction in gas prices...arguably none. Part of this is surely because CA requires their own formulation- and despite crude oil halving, decreased demand in CA counter-acted the decline. Though- from Fairfield up to Redding I've seen 10-40 cent decreases recently...
I do find it interesting though that after Trump promoting Americas energy independence- largely due to fracking... that they are now buying 30 million gallons for the strategic reserve to prop up prices...

Clearly the Corona virus' effects are exacerbated in those with preexisting Trump Derangement Syndrome...
For me, what is important is not whether a cartoon agrees with my political point of view. In fact I relish the rare opportunity to see things from another mindset. I think Ray and previous non-liberal cartoon presenters and opinion writers have enriched Wacco, and I thank you Barry for letting them in.
that's such a weird term, especially because it doesn't mean that people are suffering from Trump's derangement, which is the obvious inference, but instead is some Orwellian gaslighting idea.
Kind of like "Social Justice Warrior" is supposed to be pejorative, (we're supposed to resent people who care about social justice?) and how avoidance of ethnic slurs or otherwise prejudiced speech is being "politically correct".
isn't it the right who resents tokenism? but us lefties kinda like the exposure to other points of view. It's better when they're actually funny, too, or at least illuminate some logical inconsistencies. A few fit that, maybe credit to Barry's editing but the improvement is appreciated.
A version of "American Pie" redone for our times, sung by the Founding Fathers (but you'll want to skip the ads):
Since we're stereotyping, whether you agree with this diverse perspective, you'd have to agree that The Cigar Wrappers did a great job parodying Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song. Bon Appétit
Funny, that's how I felt about "American Pie". To each their own. One person's funny is another person's "offensive".
I think we both could agree on the ironic humor in this one>
