I believe that big government is good and FDR's New Deal and Social Security are only two excellent examples. You sure do seem hostile to anyone who thinks we should have more government.
There is a HUGE difference between McCain or Ron Paul on the one side and Obama or Clinton on the other side. I will vote for either Obama or Clinton in November.
No, I do not work in government nor will I ever. Government workers are underpaid and disrespected by people like you.

But the last part, "and disrespected by people like you", shows the lack of courtesy, and inability to remain civil through a conversation that marks the true socialist, meanly attempting to belittle what he cannot comprehend.
My wife works for a city government. I have 10 years experience administering subsidized housing. I am also a VietNam veteran, and have seen government get FUBAR. So see if you can pick up your little turd of ignorance regarding what you know about my sense of respect, and put it back where it belongs.

Now that I've put 'handy' on my ignore list, I have this to say:
Ron Paul would be almost everyone's nightmare if he ever became president, including those who helped him get there. In many regards, Paul would be like Bush on steroids and have a deplorably destructive public policy.
Extremists like Ron Paul are reckless and irresponsible and will NEVER become president. They don't stand a chance precisely because they are crazies with crackpot policies in mind that would ruin this nation even further. Only other crackpots follow him.
Either Obama or Clinton will be the next president of the United States with my vote and the votes of millions of Americans who know better.

But I do admire the Post Office. I worked for them as a youth for about 2 years, until the draft. The AMOUNT of stuff and speed we get it (generally) is truly remarkable.

Actually, a total of seven (7) people voted against the war that I know of. Ron Paul was, in fact, one of them. Barack Obama was another, along with the very bright and principled "Black Woman" from Berkely and four others. Ron Paul is actually very bright about financial issues and warned about the potential for our current financial situation some time ago. He's quite the straight arrow, very principled. He also understands commodities and stocks and credit amazingly well - far better than out current Treasury Director it seems. And he really is far more Libertarian in his leanings that Republican - a good thing as far as I'm concerned. All that said, I can't vote for him. He's just no where near "un" Republican enough for me.

I prefer content over a label. But Ron Paul is not in the race anymore. He's busy with a Revolution.
