Unbelieveable rampant family court corruption
Sadly my case is one of many. Do you know of others? We must work together to end this atrocity.

Without your help, justice will not be served, and yet another rapist will remain free. Furthermore Judge Bertoli's abuse of power can lead to further deaths in our community.
It's up to all of us to stop this now.
Thank you!
Re: Unbelieveable rampant family court corruption
Thank you for posting the videos- I found them very useful. I am at a loss... I am experiencing SEVERE corruption within Sonoma County, FCS, and all attorneys involved including my own, as well as the counselors involved. To top this all off my ex is law enforcement with in the county.....my child has been alienated, and all within this picture are compromised by his position and all protecting him and his interests... I am uncertain if judge Boyd is part of it but the grand jury covered up for him with my complaint, and SRPD won't talk unless subpoenaed... How do I get fair justice?! How do we stop this? How do we get full disclosure of back door deals between attorneys and counselors??? Who polices them????

Being brave enough to go public is a difficult first step. Thank you for commenting.
For a start, there should never be closed door meetings for lawyers, the parties and judges; everything needs to be on record, no back room deals. The transcript should be from an audio recording each side has access to. Not a private deal with the court reporter. I've had an important transcript and other evidence destroyed by the court in an illegal and suspicious manner.
We need to demonstrate to the Grand Jury, etc. the pattern of abuse within our court system, especially family law. We need a Citizens' Oversight Committee for all levels of law enforcement.
Justice is not blind when you work to support the 1%. Or can afford an attorney and political cronies who know how to buy off: judges, DAs, and law enforcement .
Just ask the guy in the fight with 5th District Supervisor, Efren Carrillo, or the next dozen civilians to be harmed in our next unconstitutional drone strike - anywhere one self-appointed commander in chief deems fit.
It's hard for me to focus on the magnitude of injustice I and others have, and continue to experience; as I also run for Sebastopol City Council.
When I catch my breath, I'd like to get a support network in place so we can fix the broken parts of our system; and get jail time, or pink slips served for those abusing their power, and refusing to uphold their oath of office to protect our Constitution and our Rights, while they enable criminals to go uncharged, victims to go unprotected - leading to wrongful deaths and grieving families.
I hope Barry, the owner of Wacco, will see there is an epidemic of crime WITHIN the legal system, right here, and as the youtube clips show, across our nation. This is not something "to get over" as he advised me to do at the Wacco picnic. His sentiment was fortunately counterbalanced by some lovely Wacco Community members there offering deep support, in the true spirit of the event.
It is only the Public's outcry which will turn the tide.
When justice is served, and the perpetrators of the crimes against my child and I are behind bars; providing safety for all who are at risk; I will be more than happy to move on from this.
Knowing as we do; how many other people are denied justice by our flawed system; I cannot stand silent; nor can anyone; or else we enable those who are abusing their power and profiting for their own best interest, rather than that of the children.
The people in the justice system, this community, my friends and family who turned away from the cries for help of the last 3 years - before my child was killed; have the opportunity to correct that egregious error and provide support for correcting the failures which led to these injustices, and work to prevent having more victims and reduce suffering for those already harmed.
Asking me to give up on justice, my personal security & well being is beyond unkind. It's an alarming reflection on our Wacco community.
I hope my venting is useful in motivating all Wacco folks enough to take the actions needed to make a difference. The folks on the payrolls who are supposed to cure these ills of our society, are too busy posing for the photo ops over the same weak proclamations.
The Women's Justice Center, and Tanya Brannon of the Purple Beret's; both in Santa Rosa; may be of help for you.
:waccosun:I wish you all the strength you need to see you through your challenges.
Best wishes,
Colleen Fernald

Re: Unbelieveable rampant family court corruption
In 2006, during the extreme corruption of tap dancin' stephen passalacqua's term as district attorney, the d.a's office refused to prosecute the participants in a rape and sexual assault at korbel winery--by heck's daughter and her then-boytoy. the sonoma county sheriff's investigators were outraged, after they had gathered clear material evidence and had proof of everything from a damaged video monitor in the deli (someone had taken a baseball to it) to a complete "bleach cleaning" of the area where the assaults took place. heck and his minions were no dummies and have been down this road before. nothing was done. a smarmy assistant d.a. told us that "now you can pursue your civil suit against them" and walked out of the room. one of the victims was my daughter. case closed. this was my first "taste" of sonoma county's "good old boy's club" justice. the same applies to anything having to do with the wine biz in this county, as noted by barry's note about the new winery just approved in graton. there are certain "special ïnterests' that hold the key to how justice is served and doled out in this county. if you are a woman going up against boyd or the rest of them, good luck. and depending on who the clown attorney is for the "öther side", chances are that what you perceive as "fairness or justice" does not exist within this sonoma county system---unless, of course, you are one of the wine country "chosen ones". i wish you luck in your situation.
