Diamond Pet Foods EXPANDS Voluntary RECALL
Re: Diamond Pet Foods EXPANDS Voluntary RECALL
Pet Food recalls are scary stuff for folks who Love our furry friends. Is there a mass market dog food that uses really good ingriedents that we can trust? I have been using Nutro Natural Choice Lamb & Rice for my dog and she seems to be doing fine with it, but I have not done anything more than read the ingriedent list. Am I missing anything? Perhaps some of you have done more research and can give us some advice on the Best dog foods.
Thanks,
Tom

I have been using dog and cat food from Whole foods markets ,the 365 brand . Is this a healthy source of food for them? The animals love it !

Whether animals love a food is somewhat beside the point. After all, many children love Cocoa Puffs, etc. I don't know anything about the 365 pet foods, but you need to read labels. Avoid meals and by products and ethoxequin (Sorry about the spelling. It is a toxic chemical preservative). The first ingredients should be whole meats. I personally think Halo and Wysong are good, trustworthy brands.

I can put my .02 in for Innova Pet Foods - all of the ingredients are sourced in the UNITED STATES, and Innova was one of only 5 pet foods NOT involved in the melamine (CHINESE) food recall.
My cats love Innova EVO, and my dog scarfs down the Innova adult dog food.
