Re: the unoccupy movement
Thank you for putting into words my own thoughts about how we can create a new reality by our choices, especially those that decide where our money (ENERGY) goes. It won't happen quickly, but the more of us that "get it", and make conscious new choices, the sooner an improved reality will replace the present one.

i continue to read and watch the developments of the occupy movement and realized most of it has been birthed from our continued unwillingness to practice and embrace the ability to un-occupy. the true power we hold is that of a consumer. the less we unite the greater the opportunity for others to occupy our space and influence our lives. but what if we embraced our abilities to create and realized all we see we manifested one way or another.
From my point of view we are the victims of our own creations.....called society. the same power it took to create it is the same power it will take to make change. so what is the un-occupy movement.. Einstein proved beyond a shadow of doubt that to be able to change the outcome of any formula you must be willing to change one of the variable. change a variable change the outcome. law of insanity is doing the same thing the same way and expecting a different outcome. What are the variable can we now change.........and what is the outcomes we really want and are willing to work towards...together....
- Each time i choose to ride my bicycle i un-occupy a gas station.
- Every product i purchase at the farmers market i un-occupy my garbage can with packaging and occupy my compost bin.
- For every moment i can stop and feel the air and smell the flowers i un-occupy my thoughts and occupy my senses and feelings.
- Each time i read labels and choose not to purchase products that are ladened with sugar and chemicals i un-occupy my bodies fight to address contamination.
- for every act of forgiveness i can un-occupy the parts of my mind that judge and occupy my heart.
- there is so much more we can be doing now...if something is no longer right for us as we learned through our experiences then its time to un-occupy the process that created it and allow a new version to emerge gifted from our knowledge of the past and desires for a better future. please join me in allowing Sebastopol to be the new center of the international un-occupy movement.
Re: the unoccupy movement
This is very well put, and the little things do add up; i wish there were some way to get out from under
the influence of the mega-corporations and still benefit people living with both feet in that reality.
The little things we've been doing for a score (or two) of years do count--just notice they haven't
stopped the US government's habit of starting one war after another, and realize it's going to take
millions of us getting together and doing some big things to do that.

Re: the unoccupy movement
Hi,
I tried to sum up what Jeff was saying when I was thinking of sign & bumper sticker messages:
 Occupy Every Choice You Make
As Occupy can come to also mean, mindful thinking and actions.
What do you think Charlotte would weave in her web; if she was to witness our current events?
 If you can fit this bright, and helpful message in: a spider's web; the subject line over the Web; bumper stickers; buttons; tee shirts; signs @: your home, biz; & local Occupy; magnets; mugs & water bottles; etc.; then we can better see through the faux news headlines - and discover what our real normal is; one good slogan at a time.
I have many; here's a #1 issue.
Fund AmericaCARE
NOT Unconstitutional "Warfare"!$$$!
What would: Jesus, God, Allah, etc., or your departed loved ones; suggest as their answer for our failed, strike-first foreign policies on select sovereign countries; and thus economic devastation in nearly every community across our nation?
Do you really think they would guide us to drop more bombs, on any kind of nuclear anything?
Knowing how easy it is for some to: make mistakes, lie, and be bribed; would our prays to the Divine, Universal Force, be answered with - "Legalize" the right to harm, and kill; with no due process; on a national, and international basis?
Americans must be united; Occupiers & Non-Occupiers alike.
We can end the cycle of violence; when we stop using it first. Each of you has the power.
It's up to everyone to tell their current, local, State & Federal representatives; you will see to it, that they lose the job you hired & pay them to do. Unless they introduce and pass a bill; which declares a cease fire in every conflict where US forces have Occupied; or are striking first; from land, sea, or air.
This new law would remove any current and future unconstitutional use of force, which Congress has willfully and wrongfully authorized; as it was not first authorized by Congress; as per the Constitution.
Unless we are all working on these solutions; we are enabling the problems. These problems could end our existence.
What are you waiting for? Just living a social/eco conscientious life is not enough anymore. We have to go big to shift the paradigms of 2012.
As you may have noticed; I have been active with some of the very heavy lifting for the last decade. It's all, or nothing now. I really need everyone's help, in every way you can.
Extra big blessings to us all; with the gift of finding our future in balance; with each other, and our natural systems.
I know you can help me save the world; one watershed at a time; starting with heeding the call for a cease fire in every watershed; each September 21st. Plan your community's Day of Peace here: www.peaceoneday.org .
The future can not be fully written, because we have choice. If we want; we can reverse engineer an inheritable existence. Not in a laboratory or war room; in our hearts; with our actions; with honor and respect for these natural systems, on which our very lives depend.
Nature is not a commodity; it's our constant companion. Our species has become a rather lousy house guest.
How many ways can we mindfully Occupy our precious planet & planet partners; with love; kindness & respect?
Who would dare strike us first if we led like that? Our leaders must be retrained to follow our lead; as our great country was intended to be.
What would your slogan lead to? Let them hear it; until they are doing it. Or out of a job, and tried for treason.
Our Federal Government must cease being our worst foreign AND domestic enemy. This will only happen when 99% of us call for a cease fire for all. 1% is such an easy obstacle; if the rest of us occupy only honorable standards of living, working, and governing.
If that doesn't work, then I know the other math will. If at least 2/3 of our States, were united in our goals; we could require more honorable, and appropriate appropriations of funding, and other resources for a secure, healthy America; handled with care.
