Stop the bullying of seniors and others at ragel ranch regional park
Greetings,
For over 2 years to date, there has been ongoing BULLYING, HARASSMENT, VERBAL ASSULTS, THE EXCLUSION OF OTHERS, AND LARGE DOGS by agents of both CARYL HART, Director Sonoma County Parks & Recreation Department, & Chiarperson of the State of Califorina Park & Recreation Commission Advisory Committee, & BERT WHITAKER, division director, & KAREN COLLINS, Chairperson Sonoma County Park Advisory Commission who are fully aware of the ongoing BULLYING, HARASSMENT, VERBAL ASSULTS, THE EXCLUSION OF OTHERS, AND THEIR LARGE DOGS, from Ragel Ranch Regional Park, which has resulted in the PUBLIC HUMILIATION, DEGRADATION, INFLICITON of EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, dog fights, and lots of ANGER and HATRED. However, CARYL HART, BERT WHITAKER, KAREN COLLINS, and SONOMA COUNTY SUPERVISOR EFERIN CARRILLO have chosen to ignore this horrible situation. Lets help them understand that this BULLYING, HARASSMENT, VERBAL ASSULTS, THE EXCLUSION OF OTHERS, AND THEIR LARGE DOGS is UNACCEPTABLE, and AGAINST PUBLIC POLICY. Lets Close the Small Dog Hour at Ragel Park, and stop the BULLYING, HARASSMENT, VERBAL ASSULTS, THE EXCLUSION OF OTHERS, AND THEIR LARGE DOGS. Demand the removal of CARYL HART from Sonoma County Park and Recreation.

Wow. To read the entire post, it would sound like the leaders of the organizations have summoned a Gestapo to beat down and terrorize people. I truly don't believe that is the case. Can you provide some examples of this terrorist action going on? I've been around during the transition to the small dog hour, and I've seen some of the small dog owners become a bit rude in their asking people to leave, but nothing that rises to the levels described here.
I'm not a small dog person, but do understand from having a playful puppy (who sometimes intimidates small dogs) that there needs to be some concession given to the small dog owners. The fact that they vigorously enforce the small dog hour, even when there are no small dogs there, is merely a by-product to their frustration of not being given (what they perceive) as their "fair share" of either the dog park OR hours in which to enjoy the dog park.
I've heard (through witnesses) that there has been an incident or two, but isolated incidents aren't representative of the entire dog park. Perhaps you can demonstrate a DIRECT link between the incidents and actions which you describe as:

and the mentioned parties (Caryl Hart, Bert Whitaker, Karen Collins and Efren Carrillo) so you can demonstrate how they are personally responsible. I find it absolutely amazing that I'm actually defending Efren "F*** the Environment" Carrillo, but in this isolated instance, he has absolutely nothing to do with the Dog Park incidents.

Sorry Pete but your blast against Carol doesn't make ANY sense nor do you cite any facts.

1 hour a day is reserved for small dogs. Its the rule.
I think having a community park (or any community facility) means sharing. following rules.
if there are hours for small dogs at the off leash park, those are rules to help avoid problems.
please, follow the rules. Don't make other people have to remind you of the rules.
follow the rules without being asked. put your large dog on a leash and leave the dog park to smaller dogs.
come back later. The rest of the park allows dogs on leash all day.
