New Diner in town that is fantastic and actually has food for under 10 dollars.
Hole in the Wall just opened at 972 Gravenstein Highway across the parking lot from Starbucks. The owners are local people who have had excellent reputations for customer service. Adam the chief worked at French Garden and Village Bakery and Nick who took care of us at Neighborhood Auto.
As for food i decided to be brave and try the Borcht (hot soup) With two kind of beets and an amazing base i was very impressed and it was under ten dollars and I was full. They have a lot of options for vegetarians and going with unprocessed foods so most of it is made fresh.
The best part is that they will be open from 7 in the morning till 9 at night.

Ok, wow... I just last night ate at the "Hole in the Wall" diner for the second time... and WOW! I was impressed the first time, but absolutely blown away this time! Started with a very fresh Caesar salad, just the right blend of zing and mmm... anchovies on the side, as I like them but my darling partner does not and we shared.... Adam had a soup for us to try today, a curried carrot masterpiece which was simply amazing, a mellow curry (Adam explained the making of his curry paste, a house made delight the likes of which I've not encountered before) complimenting a garden fresh carrot explosion with the color and flavor the season abounding.
Wanting another dose of the incredible garlic fries, we ordered a simple Turkey Sandwich with the fries on the side, a light, soft sourdough with fresh turkey, tomato, avocado and a delectable cranberry aoili that brought out the best in all the ingredients.

Thanks for the tip! Looking forward to trying it!

bah, Wacco ate the rest of my post, then I retyped it, now it's eaten it again.
Suffice it to say this was an amazing dinner, I only got 1/2 way through what we had... complete dinner for two, soup, salad, two entre's , yum yum yum...
Grand total, $35. I'd have been impressed and three times the price (Adam, don't get any ideas!)
Makes it easy to tip really well and still feel like you got an incredible bargain!
Thanks to Adam and Amy and the rest of the crew...

My wife & I love this place. Their turkey burgers are excellent and on delicious rolls...also their salad dressings. Yummy crepes finally make it to Sebastopol. Amy should be voted best waitperson in Sonoma County....she is lots of fun. Breakfast is the next thing...I hear Adam's biscuits and gravy are quite awesome.
Hole in the Wall doesn't put a hole in your wallet...the prices are very affordable so tip big.
I am a big support your local businesses person and I love to it there.

Amazing place, friendly people, and excellent food. Any fresher, and that burger would have been mooing at me - and with the bleu cheese pressed in, it was absolutely delicious. I'll be supporting this local place.

Agreed! Hole In The Wall is great. Ate there on Thursday and shared the big gumbo with added prawns, a mushroom savory buckwheat crepe and lamb burger. Yes there were leftovers. Turns out I met Chef Adam when he was helping Chef Greg Hallihan open Sarah's Forestville Kitchen spring before last.
One minor note of caution, if you do not care for carpaccio/tartar style red meat, the medium rare on the lamb burger won't be your thing. I'd go with medium. Not a complaint, we got what we asked for!

I have gone to Hole in the Wall several times and recommend them to practically everyone. I really enjoyed the lamb burger, the salad with two types of beets, and some sort of artisan kind of pastry-- the name of which is gone in a Mature Mental Moment
