Hi, just looking for ideas of where I can go out for a GF meal. Tried Outback, but they over-microwaved the veggies so that didn't go so well. Love Bliss the GF bakery, but not the type of place a a meal. Ideas...?
thanks, diana

One of my favorite vegetarian meals that happens to be gluten free is Lemongrass Tofu at Simply Vietnam on Dutton in Santa Rosa.
I haven't tried Fon Lin yet but a friend who is gluten free ,as I am, said they have a G.F. menu. I don't know about cross contamination but you can give them a call.

There's a recent article on Gluten-free cookbooks in the New York Times here: https://nyti.ms/jaPwyb
Indian restaurants often have a lot of gluten-free options. At the Himalayan place on the Town Green in Windsor (can't remember the name), pretty much everything is gluten-free except the naan and momos. They have excellent food but slow service.
Sobbit Goa is a new Indian restaurant located next to the Thai Pot at West Third and Fulton in Santa Rosa. Entrées are expensive, but the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for $8 is a great deal! Their food is good and they have gluten-free naan, which is not that much like regular naan but still very good. I was impressed to learn that the flour they use for it is soy-free as well!

Gaia's Garden. On their website they specify which items are gluten free and which are not.
