Autism Recovery with the GAPS Diet: One Mother's Story
https://www.cheeseslave.com/2011/02/...mothers-story/
Amazing story of a child, Sam, whose autistic symptoms were improved on the GAPS diet. This article is complete with before and after videos of Sam. The improvement in his behavior after only 1 month on the indroduction diet is truly remarkable! I encourage anyone with an autistic child (or anyone with digestive disorders) to do some research and consider the GAPS diet. You can find more information here: https://gapsdiet.com/Home_Page.html

Re: Autism Recovery with the GAPS Diet: One Mother's Story
Hi,
I am following this diet as well...it stretches also to serious digestive diseases, which I have. I've been on it for maybe 8 months, however I was also taking prednazone for almost 6 of those months. So far so good. I am hoping to heal myself completely, over time, through this diet...even though there is no (scientific) cure for this disease. I just posted...if you or others know anyone following this diet, it is labor intensive. Also, a bit of a warning...I did have some extra weight...I have dropped at least 35 lbs because of no carbs or sugars.
If anyone wants to get started on the GAPS diet, I am happy to help get you started with the basics. Its a lot at first, but it does become part of your routine. The weblink also shows how to buy Dr. Campbell-McBride MD revised book.
Thanks...I just happened to see this post right after I posted mine. Blessings.
