John of God on Oprah - Do you believe in miracles?
John of God, perhaps the most famous "Psychic Surgeon", is going to appear on Oprah today. Here's a link to the page for that on Oprah's site:

I'm hoping there will be a clip there later from the show. Check it out and come back here and let us know what you think!
Re: John of God on Oprah - Do you believe in miracles?
My friend is a documentary film producer who puts on the Shamanic conferences in Marin. She has traveled around the world to be with or film different well-known healers from their areas. She went to see John of God about 8 years ago to film him, but he refused. It's interesting that he's now on Ophray. Guess he felt he could be more public.
I have many friends who have gone to Brazil to be with John of God. Some could feel the entity doctors, who worked with John, when they made adjustments in their bodies before they fell asleep. Some saw the entity doctors around him or around the grounds. Others had the gadget put up their nose, having the same experience as the woman on the show...no pain but a sensation. Others had the healings. All had an experience that was different from what they had ever had. I met one women who was healed from cancer in going there.
I had a friend who grew up in Brazil, and she said that there are many healers in Brazil, not well-known like John of God, that have amazing abilities just the same, sometimes moreso than him. Seems that Brazil is blessed with deeply-rooted, multigenerational healers.
Energy medicine is here to stay, and I'm grateful that the doctor, who bled instanteously, had an experience that helped him shift out of his mind frame of only logic and "this is how things need to be to be real", to a place of wonder, alternative realities and deeper self exploration.
He had fear come up. He couldn't explain the things he witnessed. It wasn't the science he was taught. He felt he had lost control. He actually had a paradigm shift, and in truth, had gained a level of control he wasn't aware of...a part of him that was waiting to be discovered, a newness and wonderment about life w/o expectations of how it has to be, appeared. That woman, in her gentle questioning, allowed space for him to just be with his feelings, to gain a sense of a rising part of himself that was vulnerable. I wonder if that curious, innocent way that children explore their world was shut down in him as a boy. It was really touching to watch.
