Well, it's worth noting that despite the impressive small dollar donations... Bernie did indeed setup the Super Pac "Our Revolution" ... which brings in "Dark Money" and arguably is operating in direct violation of campaign finance law.
Surprisingly the evil anti-Bernie MSM that supposedly hates Bernie hasn't said much about this. But you can be sure this is one of the many, many issues he will be hammered on by the right if he gets the nomination.
And... if you go to the political financing reporting site Open Secrets you'll see that Trump has brought in over $111 Million in small donor donations compared to Bernie at 74, Warren at 48 and Pete at 35. Considering Bernies name recognition dating back 4+ years before Warren or Pete (or Trump) his haul is not so impressive..

it is surprising that trump raised so much.
I've been giving small amount weekly, adding up to more than any other candidate ever, simply because he's worth it, which is saying that WE ARE. BERNIE is the REAL DEAL. Game changer. A truly historical moment.
