Good. I can not and will not get behind the Medicare for All backed by Sanders and Warren - and will not vote for either of them if they stick with it.
The reality is it would mean the Federal government decides what is, and what is not covered. In other words- what is covered will constantly shift with changes in Congress and the President.
I have several friends who have private insurance that covers Truvada (sp?) - the highly effective drug that prevents the contraction or spread of HIV - something that would surely not be covered under many future government configurations. Or how about female birth control? The morning after pill? Abortion? Sexual reassignment surgery? Hormones for transgenders? Genetic conditions that mostly hit minorities?
I can not and will not support any candidate who creates a system where the only insurance option is the federal government and subject to the whims of people like Trump, Pence, and McConnel
The old saying- "Be careful what you wish for - you might get it "
I, for one, want nothing BUT Medicare for All!! I will not vote for any Democrat who votes against it, either. https://www.counterpunch.org/2017/09...icare-for-all/
