Sonoma County (especially) homeowners and landowners... what can you do?

Rents have doubled since fires, floods, gentrification, foreclosures, etc. Why? Because owners can squeeze more. And more. By far THE biggest living expense, exorbitant rents are sending artists, healers, teachers, musicians, loads of precious, creative, kind people moving away. "Well, my neighbor is getting $1600... "
