HI, I am looking for a person who is an experienced restorer of antique wood. Ideally, to restore properly this exterior element will be removed from the building it is attached to. Ideally then it will be painted a polychrome color scheme. A color design mockup will be provided.
I will provide an image of the item to interested parties.

Actually Barbara, it is a little known fact that wood can be calcified to the point of becoming stone. - This can be done in short order; it doesn't take ten thousand years;
it can be done in a few days' time.
In fact, a man in Connecticut filed an Open Patent in 1986, on how to petrify wood.
I know something about the process of how to do this - (am currently experimenting on my own maple kitchen floor) - and would be glad to assist you. I also paint.
