Anniversary of the Occupy Movement
On Amy Goodman's "Democracy Now" program on KPFA, 94.1 this morning, she mentioned that today is the anniversary of the first Occupy event in New York. By the way, our Sebastopol Occupy tent was apparently the longest standing one in the U.S. Even now an Occupy bench is being finished, and has the permission of the City Council to be placed in our plaza.
Re: Anniversary of the Occupy Movement
Occupy Sonoma County and Occupy Petaluma are still going strong! OP was one of the original Occupy groups when the movement began in New York. They are working primarily on homeless issues in Petaluma. OSC will be celebrating our 6 year birthday in December. https://OccupySonomaCounty.org
