Supplies: Down Jackets,Hypothermia kits, ski pants, blankets, wool sweaters, hats, gloves, boots No other clothing. Money for firewood and way to transport to camps. Yurts/tipi's

I'm interested in going to Standing Rock, is there a caravan going in December?
And is there a training planned on "cultural sensitivity" and "What it means to be an ally"?
I heard about these events at the Arlene Francis Center on Saturday November 26th.

This was sent out by Indigenous organizers some of whom are participating in the protests at Standing Rock. While some if it relates to those considering going to Standing Rock, I am sharing it since it offers important information for building true alliances between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.

A word of CAUTION! Although the local natives are acclimated to severe winter weather, we Californians are not. It will probably reach below zero after the snow ends. Having grown up there (Minnesota) careful preparations need to be made both for yourself and your vehicle. Winterize to the nth degree and don't forget sunglasses. Blessings on all!

Has anyone thought of making a direct request to the casinos?

I am confused the list below is directly copied from the Oceti Sakowin Camp website and does not list any of the clothing you mention. Where did you get your information?
