5 weeks now my daughter has been requesting garbage service for me at the new handicapped residence I moved in to.
1st week no problem cans will be there next Tuesday morning.
2nd week the driver said there were cans already here
3rd week (after having called and said this was incorrect) was told they'd send a route manager to check and then drop off cans.
4th week No route manager ever showed, nor did any containers.
5th week my daughter talked to Irene, who was very nice. Promised containers would be delivered the following Tuesday. Surprise no containers the following Tuesday.
6th week will be tomorrow Election Day, still hoping to see those containers, I'm living in a house with six weeks worth of garbage, trash and moving overflow.
Hope yes! NO TRUST or FAITH at ALL!!!!

I wonder if Eric K could use his influence/ association with garbage to help you out.
If you don't get the can this week I can take a bag or 2 and squish it into mine.

Your patience goes way beyond what I'd consider self-care. I hope you're taking pictures of the garbage that could very well be a threat to your health. This is a serious matter, and possibly a legal one. It seems that you haven't contacted anyone for assistance. If it were me, I'd start here: https://www.disabilityserviceandlegal.org/
I'd create a paper trail with dates, that can be presented to an advocate, along with pictures.
I'd call the PD, and get a reporter to witness the situation, to get it in the PD
I'd send a personal letter to the PD editor online
I'd send a letter to Vesta at the Gazette online

If you had contacted them early in this game, you would have had cans already.
Do you know if anyone else has had this problem? Have you contacted MANAGEMENT? Is this service included in your rent? Where is the residence, and what's the name?
