Look. It's simple, really. If you were happy with the Efren Carrillo years, then, go ahead and vote for Hopkins. Because it wasn't Carrillo and it's won't be Hopkins filling that seat. A vote for Hopkins is a vote for Doug Bosco and Eric Koenigshofer to get another term as 5th District Supe. If you want more of the same - asphalt plants, gravel pits on sensitive eco-systems, wine interests developing on the coast - then vote for Bosco and Koenigshofer.

Why in the world is this pair of environmental criminals putting so much money - SO MUCH MONEY behind Hopkins??? Don't tell me it's to protect our county against the wine industry or fracking or pro-development entities.
