Logging 235 acres on The Sea Ranch
The board of directors snuck one past the residents of Sea Ranch.
It sounded great. Clean up the forests. Maintain fire safety while respecting nature and the original mission of the Ranch by "living lightly" on the land.
They bypassed county and state permission and hired a Forrester to run the project. Cutting the largest redwoods is most lucrative. Leave the bloody forest alone you jerks.
The meeting today will be standing room only, and opposition to the non-industrial timber zone project is huge. I hope there will be fireworks. Please visit: www.sawranch.info
Re: Logging 235 acres on The Sea Ranch
Sounds like more of the same disregard of resident's wishes, with the bottom line of profitability by sacrificing nature and people who want to protect it. It does seem that "money grows on trees".....after they're felled. :stoptheinsane:
