Need dental work? roadtrip to Mexico to excellent cllinic
Hi.
I'm going to a Tijuana dental clinic very highly recommended by a fellow waccoista named Anja,
and am thinking of driving rather than flying. They have a range of specialists all under one roof and fees are a fraction of the cost here.
The clinic's number is (619) 819-8671 - they speak English and will gladly let you know fees for procedures.
They have many patients from the US and are used to helping people on their stay and return trip (with medical pass to zip through border).
Driving time is about 10 hours each way. I'll likely stay there at least a couple of days (comfortable hotels can also be shared, if we like; temperatures now in 70's and low 80's) before heading back, with perhaps a fun detour on the way north...
Get in touch soon if you'd like to go.
To your health and bright smile! Jude

Is there a webpage for the clinic?

I lived in NM several months after 9/11and before leaving had my needed Dental work done at the Lam Dental clinic in Mexico a short walk South from Palomas, NM. You drive down or over to the parking lot on the US side and the clinic is a short walk once you cross into Mexico. Just don't forget your passport!
The work was absolutely 1st rate, the dentists were more that competent and complex items like bridges, are made here in the USA. The big bonus? A bridge that my NJ dentist quoted at $3000 (At the time!) cost me $750 and I have had no issues what-so-ever!
Please don't believe the hype because most Mexican dentistry is just as good or better than the care we get at home. It just costs less because in Mexico, you're not getting ripped off.:wink2:
Good luck
The Lam Dental Clinic is operated by Dr Lam DDS who studied and was trained here in the US. His second dentist is his wife, also US trained and I have come to both like and respect them.
Give Dr Lam a call!

PS: yes there is a web page!

If you want an accredited holistic approach biological dentist who is also a former us dentist. The one I have been going to is the only listed iaomt.org acredited Mexico dentist and he goes to all the conventions on the latest technology. https://www.villafanabiologicaldentistry.com/

Hmmm...I'm desperately in need of cheap (but good) dental work and have looked at Anja's info. Maybe we should go down there together?

Does anyone have any other recent stories to add about dental work in Tijuana? I'm going to need an implant, and it's so costly here.
