Sending checks to Bernie Sanders
I just sent a check to Bernie Sanders at Bernie, 2016, P.O. Box 905, Burlington, VT. 05402. The young people voted overwhelming for him in Iowa, whereas those of my generation, now 71-years-old, did not vote for him as much. Since I am not on PayPal or other programs for electronic payments, being slow tech, I wanted others to have this address.
I'm proud of Iowa voters, especially our young people. I learned to farm on our family farm back in the days before electricity reached rural Iowa. We had an outhouse, windmill, ice box, gas lanterns, wood stove, cows, corn, chickens, pigs, etc. But not TV. Every night began the same "Once upon a time, a long long time ago..." and we were off into the magical world of story-telling. Life was better then than it is now, with signs that the war-making and crashing economy may get worse.
As Bernie says, "We need a political revolution," not more of the same.
Re: Sending checks to Bernie Sanders
Thank you Shepherd! I've been making small contributions of $3-5 as I can afford to. What other candidate is refusing corporate funds? This is a much needed revolution by the people, for the people, of the people. I'm unsure how Bernie will fare against the wall of financed opposition, but at least we can see that the young people are standing behind him, with their votes. I believe that it's the youth who will make a difference in solving the problems we've created, and I see many signs that they already are. Tech is giving them an advantage that we didn't have. Trending issues are available as soon as they happen, and kids are on it! I hope that they can influence their elders.

One of the current media self-help gurus, Michael Beckworth, has a good line:
Turn off the television, gather family and friends, and tell a vision.

And send $$$ to support Bernie's campaign. Tell a vision of Bernie winning because family and friends helped.

Re: Sending checks to Bernie Sanders
And here's another good reason to contribute to the Bernie 2016 campaign... free ice cream and dinner!! Ben & Jerry (the ice cream magnates) have a new flavor: Bernie's Yearning. Contribute and you can win a dinner in New Hampshire with Ben, Jerry, and Jim.
Here's the page with the deal and contribution info (yes, they do have a mailing address for the old-school crowd).
