looking for technical assistance to dismantle a washing machine
I want to dismantle my junk washer to get it's working motor out.
Never having dis-mantled a washer before I was wondering if there were folks who could help me do this. It might be interesting for some child(ren) to see this happen.
I need the motor to create a sanding wheel.
Assistance towards getting this done is much appreciated, thanks, pat 576-0926

at the root of it is a thing that would look like a transmision of sorts, bolted strongly together transmisionishly, its full of oil and will ruin your day if you open it on your hard wood floor.

Re: looking for technical assistance to dismantle a washing machine
I'm pretty sure there's a YouTube video on this. That's how I find out how to do almost anything. I've found it very helpful to diagnose problems with washing machines, how to take the front panel off, and many other things that aren't obvious to lay people. YouTube offers a wealth of FREE instruction.
You could search "how to take motor out of XYZ washining machine."
