What do you think the density of human population should be?
It is obvious that with an infinite expansion of human population on a finite area brings increasing problems to the whole Earth system.
What do you think the density of human population--one existing in balance with itself and in balance with the Earth system--should be?

.
Years ago I had a conversation with a lady who said that it should be roughly 2 billion people. According to her, if the human population was much more than that for a prolonged period of time, such as 100 years or more, then that would spell serious trouble for us. The Earth, she said, would eventually heal herself from us.
