Hi everyone,
Could anyone make some suggestions of where/how to buy pieces for framing from local artists without the expense of a gallery? I need some artwork for my office, and would love to support this community if I can.
Thank you!

The local galleries serve you the broader spectrum and offer a great opportunity to see selected works efficiently.
Sebastopol Center for the Arts, which I'm a member of has shows all the time.
Open studios are at least twice a year.
Also,
You are welcome to come by my house and see dozens of original artworks by my daughter.
She has had lengthy one woman shows of her work in Sonoma County(6wks) and in San Francisco(4 months).
She is now a senior at CCA and has done many fabulous oils and pastels, wonderful watercolors, spectacular pencils, and some awesome inks. Everything from abstracts to landscapes, portraits to still life, and classics.
I'd love to give you a private tour and espresso or wine while you look.
All sales proceeds goes to the artist.
You can see her website at lylaclayre.com
Dear Angelica,
I purchased 2 beautiful pieces of art with spiritual themes from my friend, artist Elizabeth Welles.
One of them has arches from a cathedral corridor and the Buddha on the side…
Another is from the grotto of Mary Magdalena in France with an image of mother Mary superimposed.
These are photographs that are superimposed on each other...
I'm willing to let them go for $70. each (though I spent $110. for each last spring!)
Beautifully framed....I paid $90. for each of the 2 pieces of art and had them framed (add'l $20 each)
and I was planning to put them in my psychotherapy office hallway....
But it turned out that there was no room for them there....
Perhaps you have space where they could be appreciated… They are beautiful!
Best wishes,
Hannah

Look for Stan Angel Fine Art. His photography is great!
Angelica, check out the lovely visionary art of local artist Paul Nicholson. He sells his stuff at very reasonable prices.

Hi Angelica,
I'm a local digital photo artist / printmaker. My portfolio ranges from flowers, fruits and trees, to landscapes & vistas (rural Sonoma county), beach & seascapes (Sonoma coast).
Being a woman of many, many interests, I only have a few images on-line: https://www.springmoonfineartprints....ival-art-show/
as well as in my SpringMoon Flowers Facebook album: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...3&l=a903e686ff
Have a large collection of prints available for browsing at my home. Some I've framed for my own use, so you can see how they display. Also have a very large seascape of gale swept waves at Bodega Head printed on art canvas in the living room to give you an idea of how that looks and feels.
I print all my smaller images (greeting card size up to 12 inches x 18 inches) myself using archival inks on a heavy weight, velvety, acid free, paper. Images may also be ordered stretched on art canvas for larger sizes.
Feel welcome to give me a call: 707-542-0280 to set up an appointment if you're interested in looking through my images.
Thanks,
