Audio from the Public Comments at this Week's BoS Meeting

I've always found it a bit frustrating that portions of public meetings are not made available on websites like the BoS site. You can request the audio from the afternoon meeting at the BoS and I did just that. For your convenience, I've uploaded this week's audio that is not available on the BoS website. Mainly, these are people speaking on the Andy Lopez killing and the return to desk duty of Sheriff's Deputy, Erick Gelhaus.

A note about this audio: BoS Chair, David Rabbitt, limits comment time to two minutes, citing the number of speakers, and many people go overtime and the mic is cut. Consequently, the audio can only be heard bleeding into mics that are on in other parts of the room. The audio has been manipulated so that the audio can be heard but this makes the quality spotty at best and the volume fluctuates to very loud and jarring levels. Please be aware of the these sudden jumps in volume. No audio has been cut from the original file.

The audio can be played from the KSRO website player or you can download it and play it on your favorite computer media player. If this audio is important to you, I highly recommend that you download it because eventually it will be taken down due to storage and bandwidth limitations.
