I have been making kefir weekly using starter I purchased at Community Market. The brand is Yogourmet. I've been doing it for 7-8 months and have only needed 2 packages, since you can use your previous batch to start your new batch 7 times, and each package contains enough for 4 quarts. I think it's great.
