During the public comment portion of the Board of Supervisors Meeting (7/30) I asked tp speak to whoever is representing the 5th District. There was no response from the BoS.
I then asked the Chairman to ask County Counsel who represents the 5th District. Chairman Rabbit replied that after public comment was over the board whould answer any appropriate questions.
The board did not address the question.
Can anyone tell me what is inappropriate about the question, "Who represents the 5th District now?"

I am saying now is the proven fact, Ernie Carpenter is the most appropriate person I have, and many other people will agree with me that know him, and know first hand how he handled representing our 5th district supervisor position in the past .He also is HONEST and isn't honesty the best policy ,especially now?. We would not be going into this full dialogue on wacco or any where else if the last 5th district election was done in a honest manner. And honestly,Ernie should have won .If it were not for Efferens' sleezy and dirty policticing scams Ernie would have certainly won.Ernie has lived and worked in our west Sonoma County for many ,many years and respects and truly cares about what is going on in our communities. Unlike a lot of legal and political representatives who live and work in Santa Rosa,Petaluma, and other communities further away from the west county,he is VERY concerned about everything and everyone that exsists here. A lot of people in our public offices over the years have down played ,and looked at the residents from Western Sonoma co. in a very negative manner . My Mother Dorothy Zieber was a Red Cross volunteer in Guerneville for over 30 years . She was the person in charge of opening the emergency shelters during times of emergencies like floods and fires,up until 1984,when her husband Carl, was diagnosed with cancer. She was very active in doing things for people all her life and I remember well her fustrations over receiving the proper assistance for local residents because of the people in Santa Rosa public offices did not see helping people in the "lower Russian River areas " as a priority . My Mother never gave up and neither did Ernie Carpenter !
I hope you are reading this also ,Susan Upchurch since you emailed me and said you are reading all my wacco posts .:heart::thumbsup:
Interesting that Ernie Carpenter's name comes up now. I have been reading Wacco for several years now and it is only just this week that I have seen him post. He didn't say what HE was drinking with his giant meatball though, or who drove him home. I think it is unbecoming for him to do cloaked politicking in the present climate on Wacco BB.

The corporate wine industry is in charge of the BoS, our county's economy, and much else, with help from the banks and other large corporations. Does it surprise anyone that a Supervisor is in treatment for alcoholism? He just got caught.

We Sonomans need to elect loyal supervisors who will stand up to the wine industry and serve the public. The railroads, back in the day, had a gross economic and political chokehold on California. Californians finally elected a loyal Governor who successfully stood up to the railroad interests.
How many, and who, of the remaining 4 Sups right now are on the wine industry's side and how many of them are loyal to citizens?
The problem is that there is always some big interest pushing around their dough and muscling in on people's rights.
