https://www.waccobb.net/forums/waccobb/keep90days/2013-07-23_15-46-01.pngSadly, explicit sexual chats involving Anthony Weiner have been disclosed that reportedly were done after the 2011 scandal which forced his resignation from congress.

Weiner is (was?) currently in the lead in a comeback bid to be Mayor of New York City. He stated he remains in the race.

He is a very gifted politician and an excellent progressive warrior.
So sad that he has this (fatal?) flaw.

The New York Time article is here (https://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/24/nyregion/allegations-surface-of-explicit-exchanges-by-weiner-after-his-resignation.html?emc=edit_na_20130723&_r=0) which includes a video of Weiner's and his wife's response.

The chat is very explicit. You are warned! But if you are curious, they are here (https://thedirty.com/2013/07/exclusive-anthony-weiner-sex-messages-post-scandal-with-another-woman-not-huma-abedin/).

I'm pretty sure I don't need to read what springs from Mr. Weiner's Id; so Thanks for thinking of us, but no thanks, Barry.

Is he really all that amazing and progressive, that it cancels out his inability to exercise some self-control? Under no circumstances do I feel that what he is doing is evil or even wrong, but it does seem to expose him as someone with a very short attention span. Do I really want the people I vote for to need more stimulation?

Is he really all that amazing and progressive, that it cancels out his inability to exercise some self-control? Yes. Looks like that is the guiding justification, the prevailing internal logic.

I'm guessing Weiner's visit to this place of business wasn't breaking a fast.

What a delightful video to illustrate the abundance of things. Weiner walks into an establishment patronized by different types of religious Jews, and has the outrageous arrogance to act like this. Okay, this isn't "exploding into a shouting match" by any definition, BUT I think this is over the top as concerns Weiner's behavior, even for that part of the country? The public scene was filmed either today, on the first day of the Jewish New Year, or earlier this week during Elul, which is the month of repentance, a time for prayers of forgiveness in preparation for the High Holy Days!!

Looks like you'll be put on the defensive if you say anything to Weiner about his wildly reckless and therefore public behavior. Someone actually had the temerity to say something out loud. Even during the High Holy Days when he walks into a Jewish place of business. Does silence in public condone? I think in this specific situation, it would. But, alas, it was Weiner who was wronged.

Weiner can do what he wants "in private," (however recklessly it's carried out, and therefore effortlessly made public), and anyone who challenges him in public about it is a judgmental, self-righteous you know what, just plain wrong.

Weiner's lack of even the pretense of contrition or humility is complete. Is he a typical politician? I don't think so and wouldn't want it to devolve that way. Should we be grateful for at least the pretense when it's present in a public official? Now, I guess, Yes!
