I need some help here, folks. I cannot, for the life of me, find a planet called, "Kolob." I have looked up reputable science publications and other resources but there is no reference available. Please throw in your two cents worth. I keep hearing about this "Kolob" planet from time to time and I'm beginning to think it's just another cultish fiction story.
Thanks!

Tell me what's the reference? In my short existence I've never heard of "Kolob". hows it used?
Is it like "What the Kolob!" or "You expect me to eat this Kolob?" Or "Who stepped in the Kolob?"
If we're lucky it's a rare ore from the planet Calob that saps the strength from religious zelots.
I think it's a new drink popular amongst the "West County Headenests"
Most likely it stems from someones typo that escaped the spellcheck...

If you try googling 'Planet Kolob' you'll realize it's a mythical star or planet from Mormon scripture. It's where God lives, apparently -- so if you find God, you'll know where Kolob is.

He used to live there, but His mortgage was under water, so He split. Right now He's on an asteroid that crosses the Earth's orbit fairly often, and He's driving it like a sonofabitch.

That "God" would live on his own planet not earth; isn't that like giving the kids the back house so you don't have to listen to the noise.
