Dear Friend:
Today I joined with my colleagues to introduce the Genetically Engineered Food Right-to-Know Act, legislation that would direct the Food and Drug Administration to clearly label genetically modified foods so that consumers can make informed choices about what they eat.
This bipartisan bill is supported by a broad coalition of consumer groups, businesses, farmers, fishermen, and parents who all agree that consumers deserve more – not less – information about the food they feed their families.
