Some of you might recall the dreadful disappearance of Patch, my rescue kitty, from Animal Kingdom Vet Hospital in summer 2011 as a result of negligence on the part of Dr. Waldo's staff. In the endless search for him that ensued, I was honored with the love of a homeless kitten wandering the properties up and down Morris Street, parallel to the Laguna. After 8 months of this courtship, I finally brought Natalie home, cared for her, acclimated her to indoor life and, needless to say, fell madly in love with her.

Last evening, around 10:30, she found her way out of the house and has not been back. I saw her briefly on the outside of the fence surrounding the rear yard, but she wouldn't come to me. I'm heart sick about this, as I still mourn the loss of Patch, and will gratefully offer a reward to anyone who can help reconnect us.

Natalie is micro-chipped, but unlikely to let you pick her up. We now live in Rincon Valley near Maria Carrillo High School; however, there are always those stories about kitties wandering back to previous surroundings, so there's no telling how far she may get.

Please contact me immediately if you see a small blonde tabby with a clipped ear and no collar. I ask that you pick up the phone and just call me rather than relying on email or a posting here on the BB. Thank you.

Please pardon the delay with posting this update. She's home :): ...Thanks to some diligent prayer on my part, and lots of support from Dian! I camped out the better part of three nights, and around 10:30 p.m. Monday (the same time that she scooted out the door on Saturday), I left the sliding glass door open, went to use the bathroom, and lo' and behold - the little stinker just strolled right in. And, there she was on my bed!!!
YAYE
