Poem: Reminders

A friend cancelled plans we had made,
“I’m sorry, I’m just too busy”
“That’s fine” I told him,
“Just remember to take some time for yourself
to meditate this evening.”
“Thanks for the reminder” he said.


“Hey, that’s what I’m here for.”


Then it struck me,


That is why all of us are here, sharing this experience.
To act as reminders of what we could be.
