21142The Tom Finch Group plays a hip and unique blend of styles best described as but not limited to World-Funk-Rock. Tom Finch is amazing on guitar and vocals, including some really soulful lyrics and legendary axe work, and Charles Moselle on Sax is really a treat, bringing great color, creativity and depth. Each of the other players are also superb!
The group offers original compositions with infectious melodies, hypnotic grooves, inspiring lyrics, and fiery solos. The band is extremely versatile and it’s many flavors appeal to most audiences while the band member’s virtuosity and enthusiasm make each performance fresh and exciting.
It's a mixture of jamming and really refined composition. Each piece is a delightful sonic journey that remains interesting from start to finish. It's heavy on the instrument part, and lighter on the lyrics which is just the way I like it. It's complex enough that makes you want to "listen hard" and at the same time it's irresistible to dance!
Their original composition bring Phish, Jeff Beck and Miles Davis to mind.
