WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:
Deport British Citizen Piers Morgan for Attacking 2nd Amendment
British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment. We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens.

We must applaud Harvard researchers Lisa Hepburn and David Hemenway, who have completed an independent ten-year case-controlled study on gun availability as a risk factor for homicide, finding that in homes, cities, states and regions in the US where there are more guns, people are at a "higher risk for homicide, particularly firearm homicide." Well, duh!

But why am I saying we must applaud this effort? Because our government issued a 2012 mandate prohibiting government funds in form of a grant to be used to study the effects of guns on violence.

So, you can get a government grant to study the effects of overwork on a congressperson's health—hell, you can get a grant to find out if fleas fart—but not one that looks at the effects of widely and wildly available weapons on public health. The numbers may not be as dramatic as Piers's England, but they do show a significant drop in violence where guns are not available, and once again, duh... duh.. duh!?
