Dear waccos,
I want to alert everyone to the pending closure of an incredible community resource, the Community Media Center, next to the S.R. high school. For a quick 40 second peek at what the center is about, see
https://www.youtube.com/watch?<wbr>v=gJi72DDZxHo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJi72DDZxHo)
What is really at stake here is access to non-commercial media. The Community Media Center is accessible to everyone in our community, of all ages and backgrounds, who wants to learn about film, wants access to media training and production, or wants to have their own t.v. show, etc. It is an incredible resource that would be a tragedy to lose.
Please join me by attending this Tuesday's Santa Rosa city council meeting at 4 pm at city hall. I am out of town right now but will come back for the meeting. Hope to see you there!

p.s. if you can't attend (and even if you can), please consider contacting S.R. city council members and let them know you want to see the Community Media Center open and running for years to come.
p.p.s. please share this email far and wide. thanks!
