Volunteer Opportunities with the <o:p></o:p>
School Garden Network of Sonoma County<o:p></o:p><o:p> </o:p>
Are you interested in learning about and supporting local school garden projects? Improving school food? Fostering garden-based learning? <o:p></o:p>
Connecting kids with the natural world and where food comes from?<o:p></o:p>

We are currently seeking passionate people who would like to join the School Garden Network of Sonoma County, now in our 10th year! <o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
School Garden Network of Sonoma County (SGN) accomplishes most of its work through small committees. The amount of time you put in depends on the project.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
We are also looking for a few more committed Board members to lend their passion and skills to the organization. Board members actively participate in creating and sustaining school garden projects.<o:p></o:p>

Examples of ways to get involved include tabling at events, helping with fundraising, connecting with community partners and businesses, helping with workshops, doing a garden tour, collecting and maintaining our free resources, assisting with our website and Facebook, research, advocacy, and selling t-shirts! <o:p></o:p>

The School Garden Network of Sonoma County is a successful grass roots organization, and a leader in the field of garden-based learning. We provide direct financial support, mentoring, workshops, and other innovative programs to local schools and youth programs.<o:p></o:p>
