<style type="text/css"> <!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --> </style> I am a member of a small group of local farmers who are hoping to join together on one piece of land in Sonoma County in order to work collectively and produce healthy, organic food for the local markets. We are interested in meeting landowners who will consider a long-term lease or who are looking to sell/pass on their land to those committed to stewardship, sustainability and local resilience.

We are looking for 10-50 acres of cultivatable land with abundant water, preferably with southern exposure and preferably in West County.

Thank you for your consideration.

You may want to get in touch with Farmlink (https://californiafarmlink.org), an organization that matches property owners with people who want to farm.

Thank you for the suggestion, Larry. We've been in contact with Farmlink. I imagine that they have been supportive and effective in matching others, but that has not be our experience. We have found them to be unnecessarily bureaucratic. At this point we would prefer to speak directly with property owners instead of a "middleman" who often does not respond to us in a timely manner, if at all.

Perhaps in the future we will check in with them again to see if things work out differently.

Thanks again for the suggestion!
