Burning wood, manufactured fire logs or any other solid fuel, both indoors and outdoors, is prohibited for 24 hours. Sonoma and Solano are the only Bay Area Air Quality Management counties that have some areas not affected by no-burn days.

The Northern Sonoma County Air Pollution Control District is a separate district that may issue a separate ban on outside burning in the unrestricted area during Bay Area no-burn days.
