Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but ghosts and the undead arn't exactally human.
I am looking for information on ghosts/undead that are present within Sonoma County for a personal research project/curiosity. Any stories, info, or locations that are known to be haunted would be awesome!

I once had a PET ghost, but I accidentally ran over it with my karma <lol>

A couple clues for you- I was told years ago that Maze Canyon Road in Guerneville is haunted by a witch. I don't remember the story, but if you go there at night- she floats over the highest rise in the road. I never saw her, but my friends sure had fun scaring me!
I also worked at the Jenner Inn and was told by the owner and staff, that the old cottage (built in 1900?) is haunted by ghosts and are sometimes seen by the visiters. You would have to drive over and talk to him, or a senior staff member, to get the details.
Good luck with your research- sounds fun.

Are you just looking for site in Sonoma County or are you open to other areas. My husband is a Tank Truck Driver and has come home with some cool stories of haunts he has come across. One of which is at one of the refinaries he frequents where several people have died and they play tricks of different kinds most times he picks up a load.
I will ask him tonight and see what resturant around town that he said is also haunted.
Also check out https://theshadowlands.net/places/california2.htm They keep the site pretty up to date and as long as you know of the city you want to visit, you can find what places are said to be haunted within those towns.

Hi Becky!
My name is Jackie Ganiy and I am the founder of SPIRIT (sonoma paranormal independent research investigative team) I am very interested in your husbands ghost stories regarding the refinery and haunted restaurant. Do you have any more information on these locations??

i think the refinery is the chevron in richmond and the resturant is that bar off stonypoint as you head down to petaluma. I drive by it all the time but I cant think of the name at the moment. I just recall its on your right side if heading south on stonypoint headed to petaluma and it reminds me of an old time saloon.

Would that be the Washoe House? I believe it's a historical landmark, and it's located on Stony Point Rd. just north of Mecham.

The "shoe" is the only bar in that direction. It was also the first whore-house in the area. Lots of history there. Just don't eat the food (the drinks are OK, though). Down the road, in the old town of Bloomfield, you'll find one of the best cemeteries. Largely unnoticed, but full of history. There are lots of ghosts in Bloomfield.

that would be great. I don't have a date set since I am pretty booked this month but i would love to go check it out. Cemeteries don't scare me but they can get a bit creepy sometimes
