This arrived in my email this morning, and I personally think it's a good idea to have some of these on hand to be used in defense.
A wood or metal baseball bat is a sporting implement that can be purchased in any department or sporting goods store nationwide, but in a crisis, it can be a life saver. Bats, hockey sticks, and other such melee weapons are excellent for fighting off escaped dogs during a natural disaster, as well as for clubbing humans as needed. There are times when firing off a weapon might either draw too much attention or waste a bullet, and there’s nothing like a baseball bat to take care of trouble.
