World Will Not end December 21, 2012!

Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson debunks the fallacy of the doomsday myth about the world ending on December 21, 2012. There is absolutely no scientific basis for such a ridiculous claim. However, people who do not believe in science and also people who believe more in their religious faith than science in general, usually do not care very much that there is no scientific foundation for such an absurd assertion:

My guess is they did this many, many, hundreds of years ago, and figured when 12/21/12 came around it was a reasonable stopping point, and we could do the math from there.... I guessing here, but it's more sound than much of the reasoning out and about. Happy 12 /22/12 and beyond.
