Could this be a hidden reason why so many governments want to bomb Iran?
If what this man says is true; could the risk to the conventional health care and combustion fuel industry be so great; they would seek to destroy yet another sovereign nation to protect their revenue streams?
I feel further at risk for even asking this question; I just want to stop all first-strike "wars" of choice; ending all threats is the first place to go; no one should pick a fight. No one.
The United, (or rather un-united) States MUST remain neutral on the conflict in Gaza; neither side has a right to strike first.
Compelling a cease fire for all; ending all nuclear, and terrorist threats; must lead with us demonstrating by example.
Eliminating our own stockpiles of toxic WMD's & technologies, and un-authorized occupations of the lands of others - is the only choice to make if our military resources are to be based on true intelligence.
If we leave our military & contractor "occupy camps", and stop begin such a hypocrite on who can and can't have nuclear weapons or energy; (we just decommission them all); then those who mean us ill will - will have no grounds on which to strike back.
The court of world-wide public opinion can serve to quell disputes without violence. An international General Assembly made up of Occupy Earth, with representatives from each community, can harness existing technology to authentically find what our true majority is, and seek alternatives to war and harm by mediating resolutions.
Karzai was quoted in the paper today demanding the US leave all control of the jails/prisons in Afghanistan to them right now; we are several months past our own deadline to do that.
This is our chance to fully cut our losses and de-occupy our "Defense" forces with much more grace than we came in.
The 1% have very successfully bought off the: majority of elected officials; lots of branches of law enforcement; United Nations; World bank; Federal Reserve; WTO; mainstream & alternative media; multinational corporations; countless NGO's; and trade organizations of businesses and industries which cause harm.
With our states coming apart at the seams because of: manufactured polarizations; extreme, manufactured weather; unending personal & government debt and diminished in quality of life; can we co-create an Occupy USA to save the day for delivering lasting peace & environmentally sound prosperity in our world this year?
Please tell all branches of government you want all troops home for the holidays; and our National Guard to cease their international service duty; by staying home for good, for our protection in any disaster on US soil.
A cease fire for all means our resources can be invested in America's best interest!
Constantly engaging in international security from an offensive strategy position instead of defense; will never result in "winning" the war.
This season let's rest our faith in peace; support human rights and due process for all individuals, tribes and nations. Call for a worldwide cease fire to bring in the next solstice with honor, and dignity, not wars of choice.
Lobby for an end to all un-funded and unconstitutional US military actions, an end to the US supporting any other country's wars of choice.
It's up to all of us to peacefully Occupy our town's Occupy for a local & world-wide cease fire. Enroll all branches of government and law enforcement to work with you, not against you. This is what truly supporting our troops and our country looks like.
Making peace on earth goes so much farther than just wishing it. I thank you for taking all love inspired actions needed to manifest this.
No matter what your choice of religion, or absence of one; please call on all those of all faiths to "Occupy your religion" for a cease fire as well. Don't you think God really just wants us all to be kind to each other, no matter how different our views and cultures are?
