I am 61 years old, and lost my job recently, and am having a very hard time finding another job. I guess because of my age.
I am behind on rent and a few other things, so as desperate as I am, I am on:

I hope you get some donations to help out temporarily. Another way to get help is to list what kind of work you're able to do, so that the Wacco Community may respond with some part time jobs for you. Having information about your work history and other skills could be useful.

I'm almost 70, and I provide pet sitting and personal assistance, so don't let your age be the discouraging factor. Thinking out of the box is key to survival. Sit down with a friend to help with
your next steps.
