Hi.
I just got back from central america where i was doing a number of things... one of which was learning spanish. however, i have been home now for over a week and i havent spoken spanish at all. im afarid im going to forget everything i worked so hard to learn. i know there are a million people around here who speak spanish, i just dont know how to go about finding someone who will be willing to practice with me... for fun, for pay, in exchange for something, whatever. any ideas?
thanks.

I highly recommend Judy Garson, with whom I have enjoyed studying Spanish semi-privately. She also teaches at the JC. You can reach her at 823-8684.

Every semester the SRJC offers a splendid spanish intensive workshop. The class is perfect for any level. We play games, write letters to other students, listen to poetry and music - and no english speaking allowed. Beyond that, somebody should organize a once-a-week drop-in spanish gathering at a local cafe for fun activities similar to the class. Spanish Scrabble anyone?

Hi Aly, I am a Spanish student and am going to Mexico in August for 3 weeks, then coming back. I can keep up a decent conversation but am not completely fluent. Maybe we can start a group just for practicing and fun?
