I want to make a short video of my mother in law for her memorial - just a few minutes. I have downloaded Lightworks I wasn't getting sound when I imported a dvd, so my son figured out that I have to convert the dvd format, so I downloaded Virtual Dub but it requires a plug in and a few additional things that are beyond my computer abilities to figure out.

My son ran out of time to help me (he lives far away), so I need someone to help me with the plug in and then walk me through the simple editing process of cutting out clips and putting them together with transitions.

Years ago I worked with final cut so its not completely new to me, but trying to follow video instructions or reading from a manual is just too much for me these days.

I would appreciate help so much. I have the only video of my mother in law and I know everyone at the memorial would appreciate it so much.

Hey I can not remember his Last name... but LEE one of the Main Bartenders at the Rainbow Cattle Company (Guerneville CA)is pretty great at this stuff ... and could probably make time to help you... sorry ... hope that is enough information to help you.

My son has done a week intensive at the Expressions video editing class and is in rop video at Analy.
Not sure what he'd charge per hour.
Let me know if you're still looking and how much you could pay, I'll ask him if he wants to help you.
