To Barry and all fellow Wacconians,
I want to thank you, Barry, for creating WaccoBB. I was laid off 3 1/2 years ago from a government job. Countless interviews and hundreds of applications later, {not to mention the phone calls and emails}, I have been offered ONE job for ten dollars an hour, {more than half the pay I was making}, with no future, no benefits. I was going to take that job, until one day I was telling someone about it, and all of a sudden I started crying, {I also cried all the way home after the interview}. Although I was grateful they thought enough of me to offer me the job, I just couldn't do it....I just couldn't do it. Maybe I made the wrong decision, I didn't think I would still be unemployed 2 years later. I have an excellent resume, excellent work ethics, a long list of references..... I should be working. It just kills me when I see all the incompetent, rude, lazy people who are employed :hmmm:.
Anyway, I've done all kinds of advertising, newspapers, flyers, web sites, none of that worked. Every single client I have, {about 15, I'm a landscaper} came from WaccoBB.
So I have to tell you how grateful I am that you are there to help me. I've met some wonderful people. No nonsense first class is what I have experienced.
Thank you for being a good thing in such bad times !!!
Sincerely,
Diane Rome
