Uverse vs Comcast

Uverse is now available in Healdsburg and they are trying to offer me a great deal to switch ($250 which is what it cost to install and the first month) from Comcast.

Anyone had both services and care to share some thoughts.

If so, how was the transition? (I have phone, internet and tv with Comcast).
How does Direct TV basic compare to Comcast basic?
Anything I should know which I will really regret?

Sonic.net's Fusion service is also available in Healdsburg. It includes uncapped broadband plus unlimited phone, for $39.95. You can add television for about $30-$40 more.
