$50 reward for safe return of Spice- an light orange/apricot american short hair with slightly darker orange stripes and bright green/yellow eyes, with a red safety colar. If he still has a colar on, it should have our home address and info attached. He is 5 years old, weighs about 11-12 lbs and was last seen on 8-6, 10:00a between bodega ave, watertrough and pleasanthill rd. He is very shy and gentle. If you have any info regarding this member of our family please call Bobbi or Alex at 829-9435

I'm posting this publicly so everyone with any interest in small animals will have the information. In 15 years of animal rescue <lostapet.org> is the single best resource i've seen for recovering small animals. Also, https://www.gendb.net/pet_heartline offers lifetime membership for $19, and members can post photos of lost small animals. I notice Spice is missing from the same general area where the calico named Passion disappeared in May.

Keeping cats in at night is the best thing you can do for them! I know there is sometimes resistance with this....but I can't emphasize enough how important it is....if you don't want them in the house at night, a nice bed in the garage or outbuilding will do....and they'll get used to it after awhile...you can even reward them with treats at night when you put them to bed.....and just persist, because you know it is much safer.....
I hope you find Spice.
Be Well and Good Luck

Oops--thanks for catching that. What does work is https://www.gendb.net, followed by navigation within the site to the pet_heartline page. I just cut
and pasted the URL from the Pet Heartline screen, without checking to see
whether you could get there directly.
