Hello Folks,
Many months ago CJ Holmes, Tim Nonn and Marc Armstrong gave a presentation at the Arlene Francis Center on Foreclosures and Public Banking. It was at that presentation that a woman named Dawn Ahern stood up and shared her story of imminent foreclosure on her home. She has been fighting to hold on to her home every since then. She is extremely ill and just underwent surgery last Friday.
She just called me this evening and said that the sheriff's deputies are scheduled to come and evict her from her home tomorrow morning at 6:00am. She said that they were at her home yesterday surveying the home, and she thought that it was perhaps to survey the home before coming tomorrow. She has filed for bankruptcy, which is supposed to protect her from the foreclosure, but since the deputies were already there, she fears that they will be there tomorrow in spite of the bankruptcy filing.
She lives in Rohnert Park at 1553 Holly Ave on the east side of Snyder past the park.
Please spread the word to all TV/radio stations and friends that you know who may be able to be there tomorrow morning in witness of this event. Dawn is also asking that folks try to prevent them from taking her home if they feel inspired to do so. Filming of the event is also encouraged.
