You might check with a company called CDS which bought pogowave from sonic last year. wireless internet without the problems of satellite. Great for west county where we still don't have cable TV or consistent power.

Just upgraded from Wildblue to Exceed. WB was slow. Exceed is much faster but still not quite high speed.

With Wildblue/Exede we are getting better than 10 mbps download on the average. Upload drops to 1.5 mpbs. Like all satellites, service can be disrupted by major storms.
